This is one of three WordPress.com sites I started (stepno, bstepno, rstepno) to demonstrate linkage, templates and widgets in class, and to provide some “disambiguation” for the different versions of my e-mail and blog addresses.

I liked the system so much that I made http://stepno.wordpress.com my main blog and created my own domain-named site http://jheroes.com — still hosted at wordpress.com — to create a podcast for my old-time radio research.

My personal home page is NOT done with WordPress http://stepno.com, because I like having room to make mistakes in my own HTML and CSS code, and learn from my mistakes. It links to my most current blogs, university pages and more.

This site, “rstepno,” is primarily to demonstrate use of free WordPress.com hosting for sites that do NOT look like “just another blog,” especially student portfolios.
