This is one of three sites I started (stepno, bstepno, rstepno) to demonstrate linkage, templates and widgets in class, and to provide some “disambiguation” for the different versions of my e-mail and blog addresses.

I liked the system so much that I made my main blog and created my own domain-named site — still hosted at — to create a podcast for my old-time radio research.

My personal home page is NOT done with WordPress, because I like having room to make mistakes in my own HTML and CSS code, and learn from my mistakes. It links to my most current blogs, university pages and more.

This site, “rstepno,” is primarily to demonstrate use of free hosting for sites that do NOT look like “just another blog,” especially student portfolios.
